i imagine this is what we're all like when we're drunk. huge, purple, fuzzy, and not quite sure of our sexuality.

I'm usually less upright (your not drunk unless you can't lay down without holding on to the floor)... purple and fuzzy though... occasionaly on fire (I couldn't find an image of it but the the U.K. keep matches away from children warning symbol of the stick child on fire would be great here)

I love the clouds of that first pic bigchief, amazing, i've travelled europe and america but never seen such a beautiul part of nature... looks like burning flames (or ghost riders) in the sky, where was it taken if you remember?

P.S By any chance could I get a copy of it?

It was taken at about 12500 feet, on the east face of Mount Elbert (highest peak in Colorado), just a few seconds before dawn. I remember being completely awestruck by the sky and tore into my pack to get my camera. I only got one pic taken before the sun came over the ridge and washed all the colors away. Just one of those moments ...

I can look and see if I have a higher-res copy of it somewhere. If not, I could always re-scan the orginal for ya. Let me look for it, I'll send you a PM.

That'd be amazing thanks! I have a few of those moment photos (a small foggy bridge caught just at the right time, out my window at sunrise so on, but nothing quite that special, mostly buildings which although nice, will be there for atleast my lifetime) I'd love to go that high up, shame about my lack of money but I do have a passion for good photography (I don't indulge in it, just love it when it happens or I see it)
