Planes are expensive, and that's not taking into account anything other than your person and carry on's.

On a distantly related note, are there any services that do live broadcasts of shows that people can see on TV or online? Because that could actually be pretty cool.

Hell yeah. That's awesome news! Love to see your signature fuzzy. I watch a lot of the Frank Huang/Pit full of shit shows on Youtube. Never the whole thing, but I'll watch a couple songs. Just a great way to find new bands. Definitely can't hurt. If it's too narrow it might not be worth your time. Like I don't think the app Periscope is worth companies time to broadcast on.

This is some rad fucking news! I'm not sure if a streaming service has any widespread appeal, but if global tours and stuff is an issue (which it usually is, for anyone without boatloads of cash or every connection ever) I could see it as being a cool alternative. I mean, people do pay per view for UFC and boxing, why not music? I've seen a handful of shows on TV, and even if it's a genre I don't care for, I usually end up watching some of it. Beats the hell out of cable.
