A compressor at the end of your chain will probably wreak havoc with your delays and reverbs. (I think???)

Smart use of compressors at the end of a chain can enhance your sound, but it's tricky. And squashing delays and reverbs is fun, but better when it's a send, not in line with the guitar tone.

I've always thought a compressor at the end of my chain sounds fun, but it's always hypothetical because I've never had one. And further more because I always prefer my tone big and open. No idea why I'm so fascinated by compressors.
