Got a little more done yesterday. Slow but steady. :)

To my surprise, there is a distinct under-layer of deep red. This was not the case on the back or sides, just on the maple cap.

Nice figuring, though. Should look neat when I get around to staining.

I can't say anything about their regular minis, but the firebird pickups are nice imo. Have a pair in my Jaguar, and they're fantastic for what I want to do. They interact really well with the muff too when I'm adjusting volume.
