Those Mooer sized peds can be annoying, what with the tiny controls and wobblyness of the lightweight enclosures...

Other than that, if it sounds good and has the right ins/out/knobs/switches, I just go with whatever is the most board friendly and takes up the least real estate :idk:

Pedal size isn't a consideration for me. I like big honkin 70s enclosures and cute little Hotones and anything inbetween

don't body shame pedals, they are all equally beautiful in the eyes of god

I've got size 14 feet, so I don't mess around with anything smaller than 1590B but prefer 125-B and 1590BB.

For real. When my patch cables and power plug have to fight to connect, thats a problem.

I have no idea how people who have tons of small pedals don't constantly hit everything at once by accident. Maybe I just have clumsy feet but it's the last thing I'd want to worry about in the middle of a song.
I play with no boots on for that. :idk: Also because I hate wearing shoes.

This.

I do find larger pedals more aesthetically pleasing, but functionally I prefer to have smaller pedals. It's not that hard to stomp on pedals.

Fuck anything under a 1590B.

Home use I don't care. The bigger the enclosure the better if it's got cool artwork.

For gig board space is an issue. 125B or 1590BB. Or if it is super rad face meltingly good the 1790NS. But then it has to have an insane amount of knobs to justify the extra space.

Ya'll have strange patch cables. Ryan's 1590Bs with top mount everything (RRR, BQ etc) have never been a problem for me. :idk:

As long as it's not like mooer small I dgaf. Had one of those once and it was so small it was actually super inconvenient. I don't understand them at all.

Yep. When I have to plan around a pedal that doesn't like pancake plugs it's a drag, since that's most of my patches.

I'm not too picky. all else being equal, I guess I pref small (if there's not a reason to have it big)

but if it's a compromise on the UI..."hidden features" or key parameters deleted or put in as trimmers, etc -- I consider that a valid reason for upsizing.

Of course, if the components won't reasonably shoehorn in...that's another case for a little more size

I want more big pedals. You can have less on your board without getting the empty space complex on the pedalboard.
