I did "first come first serve" on pretty much everything, only two guitars are specifically allocated along with a half dozen guns same.

I'm pretty sure the guitar player from primus lives a few blocks from me because every few months a bunch of guitars pop up on craigslist claiming to be his. Or it's like the guys friend or something. Idk. They're always marked up a ton just because someone famous played them, which is the opposite of the point of this thread.

Any UG fanboys in the house? I'll be all over your estate when you die.

Of course, UG himslef will never die.

Alright, I want a very serious Beatles cover band to die on their way to or from their costumer, with all their instruments safely left out of the vehicle. Guys who aren't just about the Beatlemania era but who give a go at all eras with accurate gear to do it. Ludwig drums; Hofner and Rick basses; Gretsch, Rick, Epiphone, Fender, and Gibson guitars; and Vox amps. They might also have an electric piano, a Melotron, and a Leslie cabinet. Maybe their mothers all get together to sell all that stuff in one lot.

I fucking loathe Rush, but if I found a Geddy Lee fanboy's stash I would be all over the 70s Jazz Basses, SVTs and Moog Taurus units...

Alex's late 70s rig had Hiwatt stacks and sweet Gibson semi-hollows and an ES-1275 double neck, and he had the Taurus pedals, too.

Too fucking many. Yeah, I could maybe handle Ringo's kit as much of a non-drummer as I am, but not that monstrous thing with double kick and all those toms and bells and gongs.

yeah, I can get behind a wall of silverface tie-dyed fender stacks for pennies on the dollar...

not realy looking forwad to that, and I kind of wonder how estate sales are going these days with the interweb sort of making a more efficient (in informational terms) market
(ie fewer "they didn't know what is was" gems)

Very much less fun according to friends hitting them.

The thing to hope for are old Fenders with the Fender badge missing (BF stuff) so nobody recognizes it right away.

And you have to put in the miles to find much.

The $$$ these days is in buying old junk to gut for vintage tubes from what I'm told.
