I should mention that the SPX also has some great vibrato (boards of canada/warped record anyone?) and really cool stereo effects, especially the auto pan. Because of it, I'm lusting after a vintage super reverb when I really shouldn't be...

Saving for an Alesis Midiverb II so I can complete my mini-rack. I've wanted one since i saw buckethead use one, but it appears shields also uses the "bloom" preset too

yes. i eventually want to have a cheap modest rack. i was more looking at the Lexicon MX200 & the Alesis Microverb 4 becuz both of those can probably be had for about a hundo or less.
