I just took a job at a farm that has some goats and they want me to grow the goats into a big part of the farm. I'm really

Sorry to hear all that. I hope to get me some of them there mini goats when I get a house with some property.Dandolin wrote:We're about to say goodbye to two beautiful and hilarious Nigerian Dwarf goats--we got them when we moved onto my lady's family farm six years ago, but now the farmhouse is full of toxic mold and my lady has lupus and we're living a mile away. They're better off with someone who can be close, so we arranged for them to be taken in by the county zoo. I'm gonna miss them a tonne--especially the way they used to head-butt when I cranked my amps, but it's way better for them to repatriate. Just wonderful creatures, in a tie with our donkey for my favorite critters evar. Woodrow Wilson Donkey will be staying for a while though because the zoo doesn't want him.![]()
It's a big commitment to take care of these critters, but I wouldn't ever trade the time I spent with them. Kind've have to have access to some land, though, which is in damned short supply in these parts and so pricy that I never would have had the opportunity but for my lady's family having acquired the land 100 years ago when this was really Nowheresville.
Yeah, goats make me smile, but it's a little hard right now.
And yeah, cows and me? Not so much.
I think the answer is quite obvious.well... it's green wrote:what's weirder? posting in a thread about obvious goat voyeurism or creating a thread about obvious goat voyeurism?Ugly Nora wrote:Lots of weirdos in this thread.
Sweet. Do they have bells? They gotta have bells. Loves me a goat bell symphony.PeteeBee wrote:I just took a job at a farm that has some goats and they want me to grow the goats into a big part of the farm. I'm really![]()

True, most of us most likely thought this was going to be about a band and music vs videos of farm animals...Ugly Nora wrote:I think the answer is quite obvious.well... it's green wrote:what's weirder? posting in a thread about obvious goat voyeurism or creating a thread about obvious goat voyeurism?Ugly Nora wrote:Lots of weirdos in this thread.
Well, I will give the cows their bells--that's some nice music, especially at dusk.Ugly Nora wrote:Well I don't know if anyone watched the videos, but if they had, they would have heard beautiful music being made by the bells around their cute little necks. That is why I posted it in the music section. If it was just about goats being cute or tasty, I would have posted it in the general discussion section.

What? Cows are fucking awesome.resincum wrote:well you can't blame dos for shittin on itI love the idea, some sounds really repetitive&annoying like my moms backyard, so I'd put some fucked up tunings on me goats. didn't know of their jams before, they are evencooler now

Sounds like they are in good hands. Bring your amps for the big unveiling and get them to head butt.Dandolin wrote:So the goats are at the zoo and the keepers are all like, "these are the best, friendliest, funniest, most interesting goats we've ever."
I'm such a proud poppa right now. They're in quarantine for two weeks, but we'll be there for the grand unveiling...such mixed feelings still, but I know it's the right thing for them....
