Like... they wanna be EQD or Old Blood Noise, based on their aesthetic, which is overwhelmingly their best thing going for them

You could buy two of those bedwetters for the price of one ratty old Maestro Echoplex. However, my opinion may be sullied by the fact that I have brain damage from breathing to much denatured alcohol while cleaning the heads and capstans on my tape delay which, I would never trade, not even for two of those fancy new delays.

Re: Walrus Audio Bellwether Analog Delay
I'm feeling weirdly GASsy for this, despite the fact I feel I've got all my analog delay bases covered with the EHX DMMTT550, EQD Disaster Transport Snr.
I mean they're effectively capitalizing on the fact that EHX can no longer produce the DMMTT1100 and that their currently being sold for ridiculous prices?
I've been told these are going to be about £290 in the UK (446.7 USD).
I've seen people say that you may as well buy a Timeline for this price? Is that true? I've heard mixed things about them. Some people say they suck ass and others swear by them. I had an El Capistan and thought it was beautiful but never really bonded with it.

Don't care if it's analogue or made out of wizard tits, it's looks and sounds a lot like a real pricey Deluxe Memory Boy. Hmm.

I wholeheartedly approve of the word 'bedwetter' being used to describe a pedal.SoaringTortoise wrote:You could buy two of those bedwetters for the price of one ratty old Maestro Echoplex. TimeLine is the best thing that ever happened to me. People who dislike it must suck at setting up presets, because this thing is super simple and sounds 10000% better than any delay I've ever used before. It's amazing.SecretMachine wrote:I'm feeling weirdly GASsy for this, despite the fact I feel I've got all my analog delay bases covered with the EHX DMMTT550, EQD Disaster Transport Snr.

this thing is fucking sick! price ain't bad either considering it's actually utilizing BBDs and all the features. I could live without the tap tempo but the FX loop, stereo outs + expression is pretty killer

I'm holding out for a Chase Bliss offering which I imagine may have something of a similair feature set. Although weirder and rampable.

at least OBNE are getting their weird on. and a chase bliss delay seems inevitable at some point and that will probably crush a lot of delays like this.
for that price you could get one of those sweet new Limbo II's for yr BBD needs and have plenty to spare.
