Re: semi hollow guitars. The Riddles will be done soon... Well as soon as the pickguards get finished so semi hollow goodness will be upon us!
Re: cosmonaut colors. The three standard colors will be
1) Russki Red
2)Taiga Tan
3) Soyuz Seafoam (which is a renaming of my "toothpaste green" color)
All will be satin finishes. A special color like powder blue can be done. Not sure yet if I'd charge extra for it though since I'd be mixing a color just for one guitar instead of a bunch but that will be figured out later.
For now just know it's possible.
Oh and re: pickguard shape. No worries if it isn't your thing BUT I'd reserve finak judgement until you can see a finished product. When I look at the pics of a Provocateur or Attache with pickguard on but nothing else, and compare it to a pic of it with pickups on etc it's a night and day difference.
You may very well still not like the final look but the other elements will definitely have an effect.

That one you posted for sale the other day is prob my favorite thing of yours I've seen. Really wish I was in the market for a higher end guitar. Much
with that one.

I'd love to get my hands on an Attaché.
Also, I think a guitar version of The Paramount would be awesome!
I can't afford either until my Gadow sells though.

Re: No more Nelson Guitars subforum?
On thing to mention. The Attache is discontinued. I do have a few pickguards left and still have the tooling to make them so if someone did want to order one I can still make them.
If/ when I run out of pickguards I'm not going to have anymore made so that will be the end of them.
Re:guitar version if the Paramount. I've considered it but I'm not sure it would work. Everything (bridge and pickups) would be so close to the neck that it would leave a lot of empty space behind the bridge.
The Grifter, while not using that body design, is sort of in the vein and is going tk be a great guitar!!

Has Premier Guitar every reviewed any of your stuff? I'd guess that would be a good thing for this kind of campaign.Nelson Instruments wrote: Also as soon as the more budget friendly instruments are ready I will be embarking on a campaign to get these instruments into the public stream of consciousness.

Re: No more Nelson Guitars subforum?
Reviews are essentially what I was talking about. I have contacted one guitar publication so far that wants to review the Cosmonaut. When I get a little closer to having things ready I plan to contact premier guitar as well as guitar player.
This might be wishful thinking but I'd LOVE to have one review out before Christmas! If I could get infront of people in time for holiday shopping then maybe that would help!
