RV3 is my favorite reverb/.favorite reverb for bass. The whole icy cold delays/reverb thing works really well on bass where a warmer sound would disappear into the mix and muddy everything up. You're going to notice reverb more on higher notes as well in a live setting so the voicing helps take advantage of this. Also, something like the Carbon Copy bright set really low would also be awesome for this I can imagine.

I agree with you but again, it depends on a LOT of factors.

Guys... my favourite delays on bass have been Disaster Transport and vintage DMM :lol: it's all about the use as well. Maybe it is sometimes supposed to be a bit smudged and cloudy :)

But yeah, it is true that any time I saw anyone paly with an RV-3 it was voiced pretty well for clear, non-muddy stuff :)
