have you checked out skreddypedals before? i love my mayo, it's got big mids and tons more gain than i'd ever need. i think he's got a new pedal coming out soon with a scoop mid/mid boost switch as well.

The Supercharged overdrive really does sound the best to me right now, it has that real orangey kind of sound, but $160 is a bit much for me at the moment. Is there something with a similar sound that costs less?

Orange Peel like the SCO is $160+. It's a bit better value than the SCO since you're pretty much getting a full proper Preamp, but the Dirty Bomb is $100 and is like that too, only it doesn't give me the sound I want. Also I'm looking for a more modern Orange sound I think, like the SCO.
