I need a video lighting tutorial:
(caution: YouTube compression in effect)

copied from my video description:
recorded with the internal mic on my Panasonic DMC-LZ8
Audition Swinger > Clusterfuzz > ARC Klone > Airline amp
at first you just hear my "clean tone" (aka w/ the ARC Klone), then I step on the Clusterfuzz
since I apparently can't light for shit, the settings are as follows:
volume: 3 o'clock
tone: 9 o'clock
fuzz: fully CW
8-bit: fully CW
filter: to the left
clipping: LED

Nice demo
Cool sounding pedal, I like its decay.

You're welcome, culture jam & thank you, UG.
Yeah, you can get a lot of nice textures using the fuzz & 8-bit knobs.
I'll definitely be doing some more videos. (I'll work on my lighting.

Here is/we have a "video" with a Clusterfuzz and a friendly neighborhood Ogopogo(berator):

Clusterfuzz settings:
volume: noon
tone: fully CW
fuzz: noon
8-bit: noon
filter: to the left
clipping: FET
I cycled through the reverbs (skipping the room 'verbs).

Choice demos Sir Chank of Geez! Particularly dug the crushed attack on the first and the long held chords on the second. But then Ogopogo surfaced and I saw the Northern Lights and forgot all else so that I didn't notice the Wendigo creeping up behind me. Good thing I have my phone in here wirh me. Gotta go. Must. Preserve. Battery.

Thanks, guys!
I tried to do a demo showcasing the Clusterfuzz at various 8-bit settings. Not sure you'll be able to hear the subtleties due to YouTube compression and my poor micing technique:

Settings in description. First it's all out, then at noon, then minimum.

Some nice decays in there, Chankgeez. I caught a little bit of the subtleties, but the way it opens up and decays/sustains came through just fine. The video is kinda creepy..can kinda see some movement through the darkness over chords...is like a Tarantino take on a horror movie.

Thanks, I still haven't gotten the lighting under control. I guess I could a whole lot worse than a Tarantino flick.

I think I have that bread knife and it was made in Japan. haha, cool picture!
It just reminded me of when the bride was in the coffin or something, with the fuzz sounds going. Fun stuff, man.

That's not a bad idea, cinematic tone poems in fuzz.

Heck, even having somebody put up a video clip once or twice a month and have people give it a live soundtrack would be kinda fun. Sparse movies like Le Dernier Combat and stuff would be blast to layer sound over. Or old b-reel clips/documentries.
Tone poems would be neat too and Nora kinda started a thread like that, but I think it died or is in limbo or something.
