Sadly, I am a sock imposter as I barely ever wear them. I do have quite the collection though. I always buy them and neglect to actually wear them.

but if I was going to do a demo in socks
it would be nike elite
the extra cushion and support is important for getting good tonez

TB switches weren't make for bare feet
or babies to crawl on (which pisses off my youngest)

OK, so, as usual it seems the keebs are slightly ahead of the guitards and basstards when it comes to fx and footwear interoperability.

But see, I have listened to your music, which is a big part of why I pay you such heed. And I will happily listen to any demos you make, whether soundclouded, tabletopped or found-video superimposed....

To go further, I for one would not squeam or quail to see you in action, socked or not, though I respect your reticence because the internet is a cruel playground, for one thing (I'm not going to idiotically suggest other ideas that shallowly attempt to undermine your own good judgment).

Yea, I'd rather it be about the music and the gear than about the idiot behind the mangled curtain.

It's not even embarassment, rather a desire to not inflict and to focus on the stuff that matters.
