Got the OK from Taylor.
You guys down?
It will be 1790NS enclosure with top mounted jacks oriented vertically. I will build as many as people have interest - it will be in the neighborhood of $175, all etched with the same (to be decided) graphic and most likely randomized colors. Best possible components etc. May need a 1/2 deposit to begin with depending on the amount of interest/ rest due upon completion and the lead time is yet to be determined until I know who's down. Want to keep all details to this thread specifically.
For technicality, Taylor is not responsible whatsoever in any form for my build. It will be me and me alone.

DOWN! (Pending wife approval, but should be alright)
Edit: damn I was drunk last night. For some reason I read this as a run of the 18v version. Oh well, I might do this and do so,ething strange with my PCB? Yeah.

I used to have a 1590 sized clone made by MSLP - doommeow has it now. Always wondered why no one else ever put it in such a compact enclosure like that.

Still have it, and love the fucking thing. Glad to see more people getting on the Gristle tip.

The musicpcb ones ARE 18v...with a charge pump. That way you don't have to use an odd power supply.

I know they are 18v with the charge pump, but wasn't there some differences in the LFO section between the three [the original, the musicpcb, and the ear]? There was like slight differences with clock noise and speed ranges or something when I read into it. Isn't the ear one also ac?
