I use JJ E34L's in my HD-130. THey're basically EL34's that are designed to take the monstrous plate voltage of the musicman.

Yeah it probably makes the most since to rewire my cab, but I need an 8-ohmer anyhow that I can use with my PA 100. When my cab is 16 I can use it with every amp, albeit not ideally, but it's nice having the option. The HD-130 is in hibernation right now. I forgot how much I likes my JCM 2000

Your PA 100 can also do 4 ohm and so can your JCM 2000.
