I really like the green muff and all and I still use mine but if it died I wouldn't replace it with another. I got mine new for under $70 and I still look at it as a $70 pedal not a $200 pedal. I agree with making your own I've made 2 GGG BMP [one for me and one for my guitarist] and they are better then my old green sovtek at most things except getting the green sovtek mufflyness.
One thing I still knid'a kick myself for is I had a chance to get a light grey sovtek bigmuff NEW, cheap!, but what did I know then, I was 15 and hadn't succumbed to the ways of fuzz yet.
