I was using a Classic 50, Monarch as a preamp, overdrive from Brown LP, and feedback fuzz was the Super Tri Fuzz.

Yeah I am pretty much not buying much else gear related for awhile. I still have a count to five coming someday, but its worth it to have a quality jazzmaster. I am playing guitar three times as much and the trem allows me to be more expressive... so good.

I limit myself to one purchase on credit at a time lest I become swamped.
Then I pay it off as fast as feasible.
Will say this much though, those types of finance programs make it possible for me to have toys I wouldn't have the cash for for a long time and I don't mind paying stuff off at a hundred bucks a month.

I've bought a couple of amps and guitars on a 6 months interest free finance. The trick is to pay it off before the interest kicks in. Also helps builds you a good credit rating.

Yeah, I put this fella on 18 months no interest. Probably pay it off fully next tax return season like did with previous card purchases.
Update, I installed a buzz stop... I didn't have any buzz to begin with, so it didn't effect much.

No cons though. Also this thing stays in tune so well, even with heavy vibrato use. Loveeee it.

You know that somebody is going to tell you to install a Mastery.
In before...

I am surprised no one squeezed that suggestion in yet. My bandmate has the staytrem bridge for his nitro jaguar and he loves it. Mastery is cool but I think they look ugly.

I learned to set up and make the things work long before any of them existed - only time we swapped bridges were when one was lost (as was relatively common if the guitar wasn't strung up when tossed in a case, or taken to parts and put in a bag etc) and then it was 'did it fit, does it intonate, #yolo.'
The resonance, the quirks, etc. are all part of what makes the guitars special. If I want predictable, happy same exactly as yesterday I'd be playing a Tele.
