I just don't seem to get on with people at all anymore. There's nobody I'm interested in befriending that I know. When I was younger the internet seemed to be full of cool guys. Everything seems so dead now.

Hasn't it been that way for like almost six years? I remember what you mean, there weren't the # of nubs [don't ask I just made up the word for some reason] insulting each other and asking the same questions over and over and over, it was much easier to find odd sites too [I really miss the cookyness of some of them] now it's hard to find sites that arn't just trying o sell something.

I totally still agree, I gave up for the most part in the circles I was in [luthiery mostly] because people would make use of the info I posted but then call me crazy when ever I brought up a idea that was against "the way". I might have gone back to playing the little game across the luthiery forums as well if I hadn't finally went ahead and tried some of my "crazy", "unimportant" "time wasting" ideas and designed and built a instrument and had it work exactly the way I planed. On the other hand it also kind'a burnt me out on instrument building as well, for the time being.

Also most of the time it seems people get what I mean to be humorous.....................

Yes, that number is about right. I kind of miss when 4chan wasn't quite so terrible though.

Most music/guitar forums are fucking shocking. I got permabanned from TDPRI the other day over questioning a mod, once in a tube elitist thread where one guy was "disagreeing" the actual conceptual science behind digital modeling in the most cocky way possible. And it was for doing it off board, through email. The guy is probably some doddering old conservative. People like that shouldn't be allowed to run sites, if I was Google I'd have some standards as when you make your "Private property" publically available and abuse that, I don't think you deserve to reap the benefits. Forums are nothing without members, whereas once set up they can at least survive in some form without mods. People don't have standards any more which is why most forums are shit. Enough is never enough.

HC and TGP are just a mess.

I've never liked HC, TB though is really starting to get me down of late, I gave up on the Double bass side years ago do to the overwhelming grumpyness Mainly the grumpyness of this real famous guy called Ken Smith I haven't gotten kicked off a forum yet but I usually don't bother with big arguments.............. one of the reasons though that why I left MIMF was do to you couldn't argue with the mods past a point, and if you are talking guitars and wood and the mod doesn't believe that wood matters in solid bodies and feals the need to interject this opinion in every thread ECT!

But I think the problem with them, is that they are shitty mods, not that they're bad people. I'd rather hang out in a small clique (liek here) then get clusterfucked in HC or something.

I'm just inherently viciously opposed to the idea of anyone putting themselves beyond reason, which is what most mods and many "debaters" on forums like HC do, thus why I don't get on with them and why I'm generally impatient at this stage.
