I've had great luck buying and selling. Haven't auctioned one thing since I found reverb. Easy to use, fees are far less than fleabay, and have even had some great interactions with the management.

Hopefully things don't change :joy:

I bought a Skychord Truckloud off of Reverb for $70 and the guys reason was "this pedal is rare." Bless reverb, great place.

I love them for selling. Way better than eBay fees and most of my listings have sold in a day or two. I doubt I'll ever list a music item on eBay again.

bought a few things on reverb and it seems to me to fill the role that ebay USED to fulfill, which was linking up savvy buyers and sellers, in particular those that have kind of particular tastes. you can find a lot of the stuff on ebay (a lot of it is double posted anyways), but reverb is relatively new so you kind of have to be "hip" (i guess?) to know about it. it's small enough that i've asked a few questions via their live tech support and always gotten the same person within seconds (who is super friendly and helpful).

ebay is a numbers game at this point, and i suspect has a lot to do with competing with amazon. reverb is the niche music nerd flea market.

Selling: I've listed only 1 thing on Reverb so far and it sold for full asking price in 48 hours. For $10 or $15 more than I paid for the used pedal.
Buying New: Great experience with Reverb, the "make offer" button is my friend. I was able to get "fair" deals on new stuff.
Buying Used: Still find forums to be the best option, at least in the few used pedals I've gone after on Reverb. Sellers hold out for people that must see Reverb as the only place to buy used gear and pay the high end of the "market price", if not higher.

I've bought a couple pedals from Reverb. It can be hard to find bro prices there, but you can find some square deals.

Ebay and Paypal's combined fees are too steep, but I still use it sometimes.

The B/S/T forum here rules.

noticed this thread yesterday.

i had made a reverb account when the site launched.
and. never used it.
i check it periodically. like fleabay and kijiji.

so. last night i found a cool ssbs pedal and purchased said pedal :joy:

very excited. and. i can easily see myself checking for more pedals.
the guy was very nice. and responded in minutes.

eBay is DEAD to me. :grumpy:
Kijiji is great for local stuff.

but for awesome, unique gear ..
the b/s/t here.
and Reverb seem to be the place.

My H9Max sold there last night. It was listed for like 3 hours. Got my exact asking price. I love Reverb right now.

Don't know, it's difficult to say, but I'd imagine buyers will get more disgruntled over time. :idk:
