I have heard this sucks the shit out of your bass tone in a bad way. I mean it sounds fun in a way, but in another way it sounds awful.

If this were to actually materialize in my rig, it wouldn't be covering the bassy bits of the spectrum... I've got all kinds of shenanigans planned...

You running some kinda Bootsy Collins-esque signal chain?

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmayyyyyyyyyyybe.
Let's just say that I'm experimenting with embracing the utterly ridonkulous (at least, as much as my budget will allow).

I'll gladly give someone a kidney for a Science Amps Mother
Man, I'd trade a kidney for tons of things.
I'm not really using this left one all that much.

So, we get to hear the Frequency~LSD through a rig like this?

Now THAT would be the way to do it!

As far as bass attenuation on the LSD Alan said this about the new version:
Position 2 new switch on the LSD definitely allows for a lot more low end to come through. It also changes the texture reaction of the circuit.
I took it to mean that it still cuts lows though. But it makes me want to buy it to find out. Or, someone else do it and let me know? Fanks!

I mean I don't want to be greedy but what about all three?

For the right trade, anything is possible!

I can't believe that nobody has made a serious offer on my spleen yet. One dude who shall remain nameless offered a DS-1, and some guy calling himself "Tom Dalton" said that he'd build me a custom tubescreamer clone. Pfft.
Tom Dalton - what kind of name IS that anyway?

Totally forgot to update this thread! I pulled the trigger on the FreqLSD that UG hipped me to, and it kicks ASS!!!!! I guess Alan added an extra tone mode (accessible via handy-dandy flipswitch on the front), and it lets A TON more bass through than mode 1 (which I gather was the original sound). This thing is such a beast. I will have to post clips... someday. It will definitely be going on my board, though. Such an amazeballs pedal. Great modulated oscillating 8-bit sounds, and the gate in the Turn On mode is fantastic.
