I don't know about the camera, but the red is a lot nicer in person.
goroth: too many delays, I have to step up my fuzz game.

I really want a Raygun Youth and the tremolo in the same box, but if I remember correctly PLL style fuzzes like to be up front in your chain?

i thought the pll sounded best when it was ran in front in ugly's demo...i think. But I don't always put my PLL's first, I like running fuzz in front of my Infanem Analogue Harmony Synth.

Yeah. I tried putting it after some fuzzes and it didn't like i too much. Impossible to tell what I was even trying to play, even at low settings. Very scrambled noise. Sounds fairly interesting with a verb in front though.
A compressed and sustaining signal would probably be pretty cool too.

my mini ark pll and schumann pll also sound good after some fuzz. did you try turning down the squarewave fuzz on the pll if possible?

I can't remember what I did. I'll try do fiddle with it later. The disorder-knob controls the PLL tracking (from slow to fast). In stun mode it's just a "normal" analog comparator fuzz. Still turns the signal into a squarewave, doesn't it...?

afaiunderstand yeah that would be a squarewave that's part of the pll circuit.

Yes it always makes the signal a square wave

That's right. Since CMOS operate at logic levels (+9v or ground, 1's or 0's) the signal needs to be squared up. Goes for most of my designs.. It has it drawbacks though, gated signal, short sustain and "immune" to pre-eq. That's why I recommend using my effects with hot humbucker pickups, using the neck pickup with the tone rolled off.
Anyway. Glad you like the ringmod aswell.
Here's yet another new thing I finished the other day. A follow up on the ring modulator, kind of...

My demo is played with a Lollar Regal. I think they're around 11K, maybe a bit less. The King Corruptor sounds great!
As mentioned; you should stick around. I think you'd fit right in, making those furiously insane circuits.

Freppo sent me some corrections to the schematic for the "King Corruptor", so I've updated the vero;
Ignore the "Blank board - qty. 4". I forgot to take that out, I'll fix it today.
Use the schematic from Freppo's site for all the wiring and pot details.

I'm in the process of building it now, so I'll be able to verify it when it's done.

Here is an arcadiator based on the PCB by Rullywow (permission was sought from Freppo!)
Reason for wiring the switches was I had tried the vero, failed, but already drilled and labelled the box... (!)
