Noises are coming from Digitech people that they're moving away from the Hardwire enclosures, so watch for clearance sales on that stuff new, as well, if you're going that way. (Apparently the marketplace thinks the pedals are too wide and don't like the feel of the switch. I find the DL-8 delay just fine, myself.)

If you do any soldering, with some added components the EHX Satisfaction fuzz becomes a pretty good sounding Jordan Bosstone clone, good for a range of OD to fuzx. The solder pads are already there to fix it. (The circuit has fuck all to do with the Maestro Fuzztone.)

Might do what you want? :idk:
:thumb: thanks.
It will do what you need for sure, but the other options might be better for your situation. The Hot Tubes nano was actually what I was going to suggest when I came to this thread. No first hand experience, but I've had my eye on them for a while.

Damn, didn't know that. Makes me kinda nervous about the resale value of my dl8. If a smaller/upgraded version hits the market I mean. I couldn't be happier with mine though, don't really want to let go of it :s

Can confirm the Hardwire CM2 sounds really awesome. It does not have a lot of gain though. Rather, its clipping is not very jagged or harsh, more smooth.

Okway, thanks a lot!

I'll try the hot tubes nano. I won't find cheaper than that and I guess it is something like the blues driver but with a fatter sound.

I'll let you all know folks!

Used MXR dist+ more fuzz than distortion by my ear. a classic and can be had cheap new or used...cheaper used as no one cares much about them as much since MXR revamped thier dist. line and since tthe world has gotten past 1983. Still good sound to be had, though

Biyang are making some pretty decent drives and fuzzes. If you're on a budget might be worth checking them out. They're damn cheap but have some rave reviews (not sure what people think of them on here) I've just ordered the octave fuzz which with a couple of capacitor reversals is just a straight clone of the foxx tone machine. At £25 you can't go wrong...even if i do end up using it as a door stop.
