as far as tickets, Ozzy with Zakk touring with Lady Gaga woud be a great show. I've pretty much seen evryone I care to with the exception of Non-Sabbath Non-Gusguh Ozzy, Gaga and Buckethead in a band context which I realize will probably never happen again.
Last concert I went to kinda put me off of live music. Don't ask- It was Dream Theater. Buy tickets that aren't cheap, drive 500 miles...concert is the same as watching concert dvd

I'd camp in line for the Nerve Gear when it comes out

I saw them on tour with Opeth a couple of years ago and it was the worst show I've ever seen, because of the exact reason you give. Everything was perfect, there was no spontaneity, no interaction, no fucking joy in playing. It was professionalism at its worst.
I would not camp out for Dream Theater tickets.
But in general bands/companies whatever would have to pay me to camp out. My time is worth too much to spend it in a queue.

And of course I didn't even need to camp out and I missed Electric Wizard tickets. If I meet someone scalping tickets to that show I will beat the living shit out of them.

OH shit did those already go on sale? My homie got tickets to the Chicago show but I hadn't decided between Montreal and Boston yet.

They sold out in minutes everywhere it seems, don't know about Montreal or Boston but I wouldn't be surprised.
