Nah, scratch that. After listening to more demos I see where you're coming from. Although, in that dude's comparison with the Reaper, I actually think the Reaper sounds better.
Jimi made a living slamming them with a Strat and a Fuzz Face and/or Octavia. I've hit mine with Muffs, a Fuzz Face, and an Octavia, and good lord they sound awesome.

I take nothing away from WGS speakers, but they seem to have less of that signature glassy presence then their Celestion counterparts in my experience. Not saying it's a rule, but in my experience it held true. I've had the ET65, and a couple Vet 30's. They were all excellent sounding speakers, but lower sensitivity, and like I said a little smoother less punchy than the originals.

I loved the ET65/Vet 30 combo though, it did have a fairly bold voice, with warmth, a rich mid grind and sweet smooth but still chimey treble.

You should totally order a pair of AXA12 from Tonic amps man. It's worth it. I love mine far more than gold.

I'm trying to decide now which one I want to try next, the; Studio 12L, Medusa 150C, or Medusa 150.
