Definitely doing a demo of PDS--Particle--ILFDD--Afterneath this weekend. I'll use the hold function on my Raptio as well.

Care to share the settings (in general terms . you know like, short delay into modulated thinger delay.. or whatever). Because that was crazy good and I want to steal that exact sound. :hug:
I used a Tape delay with slight modulation and I synced it up with a reverse delay (why isn't this a normal setting on those big delay units? It sound fucking huge) I then stack those through a long delay with a lot of modulation, the adjustment of the long delay affects when the vibrato opera bit kicks in. :lol:

Tape -> Reverse -> Modulated

I've been wanting a Particle for so long, I might still flip the Echolution just to get it. :| Please make sure to post that demo, do want!

Talking about the hold function, using the Oscillation of my AB-Synth Supreme combined with the Osc from my Uglyface and fed through my goatkeeper and the delays I have produces some amazingly spooky ambience, I now need a pitch shifter and I got a drone to play on--Or I might just use my Microbrute once it arrives. :drool:

Only three? That's not "too many" or I'm in trouble.

I was messing around earlier with five (several set on multi-head stuff that the little pedals don't quite get right in the self-oscillation zone where it just goes and goes and goes without going into spaceman raveout).

Sometimes that's what it takes.

The reason you don't see a delay into a reverse delay in one unit is simply probably expense - decent reverse takes up a good amount of horsepower/memory, and is hard for "I think a one-knob pedal is about perfect" buying public to understand.

That and the market for that is using multis and rack stuff already, incidental pedals are to add flavor to the assault that's ongoing already.

Keep those three though and get your hands on a Quadraverb+ or Lexicon Vortex and learn how to really tweak either. Hijinks *will* ensue, for $200 for the pair tops.

"Too many"...Is determined by the size of my pedal board, which in turn is what keeps me from going bankrupt:)

I currently only have one bread and butter type of delay pedlol. ONE! :cry:

Someone better alert amnesty international or something, cause this situation can't go on for much longer. Surely there must be something in the Geneva convention about every man needing at least two delay pedals...Right?? It's beyond me how the United Nations are sitting by, allowing this horror to go on.

So if anyone feels like throwing some humanitarian aid my way in the form of a measly Ibanez ES-2 or even better, an Empress Tape Delay: Hook me up, I'm dying overhere :(

Lately I've been running echo dream 2 > Apocalypse > Carbon Copy > reverberation machine > DD6 on reverse > Holy grail nano > amp with reverb cranked. Its really ambient and pretty sweet sounding.
The more I play with the Echo Dream 2 the more I like it.

Stacking delays is great for relaxation. I didn't even bother with a guitar yesterday. LAL Cyber Psychic -> No Memory -> DBA ED2 -> Red Panda Context (delay+reverb setting).

I almost made myself fall asleep. So dreamy.
