I was thinking the same thing. Even with cheap parts and slave labor I would think the actual shipping costs would be more than what they're charging, right? Not that I know much about any of that.

Could be, I saw some reference on a youtube video of this delay being a PT2399 design presumably but nothing else is to be found of it so I dunno for sure, sounds cool anyway though...

There's a news story from the past couple weeks that I'm just recalling about how the US Post Office basically ends up subsidizing Chinese shippers who use international mail service. So these sellers can ship to US customers cheaper than a USA importer could. Not a wisely designed system to protect US business.
