Technically no, but their guitar strings work on my SS Squier Jag bass (30"). They're a godsend for tuning up/in fifths (I'm GDAE right now) since they get so thin. Only drawback is that they have the little guitar ball ends, the tension on my D was too high and it kept getting pulled through the bridge, I wound up putting a bobby pin through the hole in the ball end, though, and that's been working so far.

It's interesting. Those mandolin chords sound weird. When I'm messing around it tends to sound like either Battles or Greenday haha.
