Wow. I noticed you tweaked the octave down knob when in Hall mode. Does octave down work outside of a Shimmer mode?

Both the octave knobs work in all modes ;)

Hmm, I'm curious, do they always control the octave or do they do something different in the other modes and what's up with the control down right, you don't seem to touch that one?

Down right is octave up and I don't like octave up with verb. Octave up and down work in all three modes in the same fashion. Only reverb time, diminish, and tweak are not quite the same in the different modes.

Ah, understood, me neither.
For the people who are interested, the only thing I could find so far that comes close to this in a smaller package is the MAK Space Reverb.
That preset feature on the Descent seems mighty fine though, especially if it also stores different expression control parameters for each preset, I don't know if it does that but if it does you basically have between six and eight sounds to call on depending on whether there's also a knob only mode.
Does it do infinite decay?
Excuse me for al these questions, I just read the manual but it's not very clear in stating this.

Dude I think your demo is fucking killer! Makes me want this pedal bad. Fuck youtube haters. Bunch of douche bags. Youtube is the worst place for comments. People are total dicks on there.

Tristan : Honestly haven't tried an expression pedal and I don't think it does infinite decay.

Jwar : I actually thought that guys rant was funny, that's why I shared. I like how he thinks gay and French are curses... I also like how he thinks I'm a wuss from watching a demo vid and the playing like shit part was awesome, like how he needed to demonstrate that I obviously couldn't play because people who can show their fingers on the neck and stuff like that. He tried so hard to convince me over an internet video that it was like super cute. I'm thinking he's 15 and ran out of porn or maybe a dickhead from a very famous guitar forum the three letter long name shall not be written on the ILF

Agreed, it's a sweet demo. Even better the second time around. And YouTube hate is the reason why I upload my videos to Vimeo instead.

Disarm D'arcy: Have you tried it with an expression pedal? From what I gather you can use it to regulate one or several control-knob(s) on the pedal. If you do own an ex.pedal and have tried it, how do you choose which knobs the pedal will work it's magic on? I bet it would sound great for the octaves in shimmer mode, or an extreme hall setting. :snax:

I tried Vimeo but... This video's source file is about 1,6gb large... The 500mb per vid limit on free accounts is not something I could work with. I like YouTube better and use it more for guitar stuff. I pretty much only use Vimeo for watching short films and skateboarding vids. I honestly don't have to deal with the hate, the content I upload is not quite controversial. I think that dickhead from Texas was dumb to a point it was actually funny.

I don't have an expression pedal at hand but i think I saw something about that in one of Walrus's vids. I watched some while the package was on its way.

New episode. Droning the shit out of the Descent and a Moog Little Phatty for 10 minutes. Well I did for most of the afternoon and filmed 10 minutes of it. That was awesome.
