Geez guys, thank you so much for the kind words. I'm truly touched.

You know, in the 6 or 7 years that I've been doing this pedal building gig, I've only ever built one pedal for money. Actually, it was a month ago, and it was in exchange for another pedal, plus me adding money to sweeten the pot (retarded, I know, but that's how rare the pedal I'm getting in exchange is). It was a PLL build, like mine, but in black. Here's a shot of it, it's on the left,

Anyway, I was sweating buckets through the whole build, thinking,
- Will he like the tone?
- Will he like the esthetics?
- Will he like the layout of the knobs?
- Bllllaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh?
A million questions like that, for a month that I was waiting on parts, and building, running through my mind. I'm like popping an ulcer. Finally, I put it in the mail, and realized that I never want to go through that nerve rack again. Back before digital photography, my best buddy asked me to shoot his wedding. There's no, "Aw crap, the pictures didn't turn out, can I have a do over?". I felt the same way now, as I did then. It's like the ultimate one shot deal. This is how I felt building that PLL. As a matter of fact, I was SO focused on the clone PLL, that the real one that someone else sent me to work on, I fucking forgot to do two of the mods I promised to do (different nightmare, for another day :grumpy: ).

So, the moral of the story? I'll continue to explore, share, and help out, as much as I can. UKT and I will continue to produce quality DIY boards, as long as there are interesting circuits out there to build, and the buck will stop there. And now, I'm off to my workshop, to build myself a machine that will kick me, every time a PLL thought goes through my head.

You, sir, do the work of kings. I've owned a Frostwave for years and it's like my favorite purchase ever. One should be issued to every musician, it's impossible to understand the power of these devices until they're in your hands.
