They don't really sound quite like any other brand of fuzz, and tend to sit nicely in a mix.
so much this
3rded

also if you can find anything by M.A.S.F, love to two I have Stary Wisdom and Epilepsy] and if I was after a Bluebox/buzzbox type pedal for a live rig I would more than likely give their Kidnapper a try.

I have a kidnapper i could maybe be convinced to trade (or sell, but preferably trade).
It's the gnarliest sub octave i have heard in my life. The only problem is it doesn't have a blend control so its suboctave or nuthin'. But it tracks well and can cut through the mix if you turn up the 'saw' control.

Nicely done, sir. Never listened to clips of this one before. Now it must be mine.
...Now which kidney do I use least?

I'm so meh on LAL fuzz pedals, I think they're so weak sounding, no match for Copilot FX, Metasonix or Trogotronic in my opinion.

Man, I know you don't really get rid of pedals, but if you ever want to flip that, hit me up.

I have a discount code that you can use if you order direct from Thom.

Velcrobot!!!

Stop wasting precious bandwidth guys, Syl has already concluded the thread with that post, and MEC has already enabled it.

Thanks fellas, got A LOT of good ideas. in fact, i got from totally clueless to 'dang I gotto catch em all'
I like what I hear in that MASF clip, but yeah if only had somekind of blend control :s
I'm actually plesantly surprised about that dod bozz box, weird that it stayed under my radar for so long. Does that fall into the pricey rare vintage category, or the cheap junky thrift store category. If it's the latter, I'm adding it to my wish list for cheapos to try out one day.

PM'd.
Not sure if the velcrobot is the way to go though. That glitchy gated velcro trick sounds extremely good imo, but the reason why I didn't keep my old Wolf Computer or even my fuzz factory, and why I dont use my Fuzz God II as much as I would like: They don't cut through a loud mix AT ALL
It's not an ego thing, I don't always have to sit on top of the mix or anything, but there's also no point in using a really nice fuzz pedal when it'll be completely unaudible at rehearsels or shows :ikd:
I could see it working in a noise rig, or a two/three piece band with just one guitar. But with a loud drummer, a second guitar, and me playing rhtym/chords...All these super gnarly sounding fuzz factory derivates (can I call 'em that?) just don't work for me
Anything else by fuzzhugger I might want to check?

(Slight thread derail, sorry.)

No, but if you want to send me one I'll give it the go around
I only have a couple mke pedals, one i would really like is the decomposer but it's not an immediate thing. It looks like the kind of pedal I would get a lot of use out of and I'll probably get around to ordering one.
