if the DL4 had storage, god that'd be sick...

yep. I really don't understand where the fuck is all the market for all these tiny one-purpose super-basic and boring loopers

looks like the usual ehx build quality corner cutting, just chuck it all the the same old box, same old switch.
with the ditto x2 you got the 2 soft touch switches, and the (fiddly internal switch) option to have the 2nd tap as either a 'playback' or 'playback and record 2nd loop'

Ofcause this comes out after I buy a Ditto.

I've considered replacing my DL4 with a Ditto x 2, but aside from that the DL4 is still king.

Word. I hear you. Unless they've done something like the SMM w/H where you hold until the loop is done? I could be into that. I do like the looping characteristics of the SMM.

it would be!
wait... what are the functions of the jamman stereo? I'd also accept an update to that where you could set the extra switches to change banks or 1/2 time and reverse.

Putting it in a standardized box and using... a switch counts as cutting corners?
I wonder if there'll be any internal switches, they've been doing that recently on some things.
Not so good for live use depending on your needs perhaps but for home use being able to have 11 recording slots is quite nice... I suspect as with the freeze, a fuller featured version if there is call for it may appear and fill the middle ground between the 2880 and this.

I know some people had issues with the switches they used on the early freezes but the one on my super ego is fine, just as good as other momentary swithces i've used

I would do it just to have silent switching more than anything else

everyone please stop buying this shit, get a rc2, it's cheaper and if you don't really want to use the extra stuff you can just not use it. then maybe we can get a dl4 with memory in a smaller box...

kinda makes you realize how ... revolutionary the Ditto was, since EVERYBODY now has a small compact simple looper. even companies that had usable compact loopers like Boss.

If the Ditto x2 could store a few loops, it would be near perfect. The Pigtronix Infinity is awesome (store loops, midi sync for practical live use with a drummer) but expensive.. This Nano looks like it could be great but it's missing some key features for me, like a second footswitch. Either TC needs to wake up and do a firmware upgrade/hardware expansion that allows users to store loops or I have to wait for EHX to release the "Deluxe" 360.

Btw...anyone use the L6 JM4? I always wondered if it was the "better DL4" that we all wished for..
