The Hartke has a great tone shaping section. It has a 10 band EQ, 2 preamps. one tube emulator that is warmer and clips a little easier, and a ss preamp that is a little more sterile. You can blend them together, and then it has a low pass and hi pass control. Its a really versatile amp. I got my 250w head for $125 so it's a really good deal. I just wish my cab was 4ohms so I could use it to its fullest.

Aby box. With that you can select Channel a or channel b or both channels a and b. Someone in the shark tank will probably get you sorted there.

What kind of cab configuration are you using? You might be able to rewire it for 4 ohms

An Ashdown ABM 4x10. 650w at 8ohms. That would be awesome if I could rewire it.

Open it up if you can, and take a look at the speakers. Chances are because it is a 4 speaker configuration you can just rewire the speakers and make it 4 ohms and solve all of your problems without having to buy anything else

no 4 speaker 8 ohm config can be turned into 4 ohms.
Only a group of 16 can be rewired to 4.
If you took out 2 of the speakers you could make it 4...

Yeah I was hoping they were 16 ohm speakers that were making it an 8 ohm cab

I used to do this with a TU-2.

Is the peavey 215 8 ohms? If it is run it along with your 410 and you will have 4 ohms

I havent even checked. Ill have to look at next practice.

I haven't opened up the Ashdown yet either. Went into work, but we were dead as shit, so they let me go home

Your head should have 2 speaker outs, just connect one to the 410 and the other to the 215. All the peavey 215 I have ever seen are 8 ohms. Double the watts and an increase in speaker area, it should be pretty fucking loud

The only issue is, if it does work, I'll be leaving it down there in the practice space, cause I am not hauling a 4x10 back and forth. So I'll have to get a little combo for home, since my practice amp got goddamn stolen out of my car.

Got my Ashdown MAG300 on here for $240 shipped. Usually only bring my Ampeg PF410 to practice which is an 8ohm cab so I'm only using around 150 watts and it has kept up very well. I'll still be bring my 1x15 to the next practice though for even more volume
