That is a lot of science.
From what I know about Schumann, that was exactly what it was.Bellyheart wrote:I wonder if this was to deter people, from cloning. Ancient booby trap.

I see. I don't want to speculate about his health problems, since there's been a lot of idle talk on the internet and I don't know anyone who knows definitively, but thanks for the heads up.5KVNQW0RK5 wrote:That reason was the least of it but it ended up being an inherent reverse engineering deterrent. You won't. Those silver trimmed knobs used for the lion,lion-x, f-loop, and two face were bought in bulk from a components warehouse in person around brooklyn and he couldn't remember where he bought them from to order more. When he eventually ran dry on his stock, he started using davies 1150 skirted knobs for the lion-x (which was the only pedal he was building by that time aside from the PLL's). He told me that those silver trimmed knbos were made by davies, but when I got in touch with them a few years ago to get more info, they said they had never made that particular knob. I then fired off emails to every other knob manufacturer and got no leads so I gave up. I do have some info on what he used for those pointed scalloped top knobs on the drive and clean knobs, though its locked away in a hotmail account I haven't touched in 6 years. I want to say those were from davies.12XU2A3X3 wrote:haven't found em yet.
