I've done a couple jams with CGDGCD tuning, sounds good with other stringed instruments in standard tuning.

I figured out how to play the intro bit to liberation frequency this morning

turns out one o my favourite guitar players (mary timony) plays in a weird tuning close to dadaae, called dadgae

which I haven't tried yet but the name sounds infinitely better

that's what i use in my current band!

I've been mesing around with variations of D tuning as well on this Strat I put together. What I like about D is that it's definitely a little 'thicker' sounding, without losing much of a traditional standard type of sound too

if I wanted to try and figure out bastards of young by the mats, anybody know where I might put a capo?
