Hey, me too, but you know what? Since the whole revamp and not really listening to music on a PC for a few years, I find my compatibility is "Low" with everyone.

I used to love the old, red last.fm and often had "High/Very High/Super" compatibility with those who were into hardcore/punk/screamo at least. Nowadays I never get that. I suspect the algorithm has changed for the worse or has been left to languish by the programmers. Just browsing through you guys' top 300 artists or so, we'll have at least 100 in common, so say a third. No way that's low compatibility. It's like the site is trying to divide us and dissuade interaction! No wonder it is dying.

Then again, it could be that mine and others tastes have diverged over the years and a lot of other factors come in such as offline/analog listening. Whatever, I still think we are more similar than different

2nd edit: I think I know what's going on. Last.fm's stats are based on recent year(s) only. Most of the noisy/guitar-based music I listen to is on analog formats now, whereas my computer contains more of the hip-hop and electronic stuff. Thus last.fm now disregards my past and thinks I'm a recent hip-hop convert.
