Fucking cannot wait to get this AOR, hopefully happening this week or next.

I had a carvin power amp, it was pretty fucking nice.

Sovteks are great, just be prepared to spend some cash for reliability's sake.
Awesome amps once you iron out those issues, though.

Vintage Peavey heads get snagged by doom/sludge players around here, they're slowely going from sleeper amps to what Sunn is now. Not that they're crazy expensive, but the days wen they could be had for under $500 are gone, at least in this part of the world.

I'm not dead set on tubes, it's just that I have almost no solid state experience. Zero actually, if I don't count the handfull of shitty practice amps I went through when I started playing two decades ago.

Didn't know that ss orange head, just checked some clips. Not that yt mean everything, but it seems like it could do the job.

I can recommend the MusicMan Amps, I've got an HD 130 and it's a great pedal plattform. (ss front end, 4 EL34).
Also, if your in Europe, have a look at Dynacord stuff. They are all over Germany and (still) not too expensive. I picked up a Eminent II (ss front end, 2 hard driven EL34, my amptech said 50w clean 80w dist. if I remember correctly) for $110.
But there are also different bigger Dynacord models - with 4 output tubes. Like the "Gigant".
Dynacord stuff here (German) : http://www.el-me-se.de/old/dynacord.html

Sometimes, power amps show up pretty cheap as well. (Peavey classic for example).

Good deals: wfs1234, Gigahearts_FX, stanimal, greyscales, hatshirt, insubordination, xrleroyx, HolySchnikes, nevada, skullservant, earthbound, chuckjaywalk, D.o.S., antennafarm, skip, hbombgraphics, UC, jwar, nieh, laekna, Rygot, D-Rainger, behndy, jero

Where are you located? I hope Peavey stuff doesn't go too high. I mean there are a few old.peaveys that go for a lot, the Vulcan, the F800 series,Roadmasters etc, but usually they aren't 500 plus
Great trades with : Officer Bukowski, Bklingman, Jero, Jrmy, ethanxcampos, whiskey_face, doctorpoopenstein420, terminator
