Damn nearsightedness! It sure does! No dry 2290, though. It is dead sexy, though.
I'm sure you could upload that as a toneprint preset :)
Yep Toneprints...
spacelordmother wrote:Quite an impressive list of presets, but for me: no trails, no dice. :(
Buffered bypass on the dip switch has trails... Also there are two Lee Ranaldo toneprints that are called Trails... :thumb:
Well fuck me sideways then! :snax:

I knew you were a kinky bastard...

Peeps always got something to say about the Flashback but for what it is and the editor and the sounds I think it's pretty damn dope... I need to check to see if the new presets are downloadable as toneprints yet but you should be able to load them into any Flashback version if so... There are two dip switched on the inside that control true bypass and kill dry...

Hmmm, I was never really that into the original Flashback but I kind dug the Alter. This might replace my RE-20.

I'm really on the fence about them. Seem totally awesome, and I know I could cook some crazy stuff in the editor, but :idk:

I'm kinda wanting to replace my SMMH (cos no trails!!) but the sounds it makes it makes so good!

Everyone should just buy 10 delays with the Flashback and El Cap being two of 'em and get on with it already...

And also a Cloudbuster and an ILFDD, so those four and six of whatever else you like...

So I just looked at my toneprint app.... I guess they only have one delay so far, no space echo...

I watched the demo this morning, I am into it. I don't regret the 4x but I really think this is totally awesome.

I've got lots of great delays already, and the FBx4 was nagging at me anyway. This ups the interest a bit.

Anybody gotten deep into the MIDI functions of the FBx4? Does it really add much for you?

Please do a looper with the 1/2 speed switch and a play once switch. It'll be perfect.
Mind boggling that the DL-4, RC-20, and OG Boomerang are the only loopers to utilize a play once switch. 1/2 speed, reverse, and play once should be included on every looper. Always.
The third switch from the left on the Flashback/AlterEgo x4 is a play once switch.

Isn't this thing big enough to add a couple more knobs? There is the editor but not thats not exactly useful for changing a few small params. Otherwise it looks awesome

This thing looks pretty cool in theory (and visually) but I've never been thrilled with TC's delay/verb/mod offerings. The Cbread Echorec and Belle Epoch crushed the original Alter Ego I tried, just no comparison. I love TC tuners and loopers tho.

And yeah, this thing needs more controls to truly rule. Mod control esp!

Yeah, any thoughts on midi yet?
