I was fed 13 Songs and Repeater and I can't chose both so I chose both...

I've had the privilege of seeing them (Fugazi) 3 times. Always a good show. I know they rub people the wrong way sometimes but I grew up with it so wtf. Watching Guy playing live is super entertaining and Joe Lally is into some cool stoner stuff. I bought a set of 10 live Fugazi bootlegs from him at one time. Where the fuck are those?!

Did someone mention Karate? Didn't they have a song about refrigerators or ghosts or something? They were erased from my memory until I read their name.

Oh...Margin Walker EP or 13 Songs or whatever...fave.

fantastic live band. I got lucky and a friend dragged me to a show before I knew who they were and I have seen them when ever they come through town, since...

I hafta go with Steady Diet. Just hafta.

Red Medicine. IMO by far their best record, where songwriting, performance, and production were coming together like clockwork.

But their studio work PALES in comparison to seeing them live. Yeah, that can be said m/any a good band, but live Fugazi is (was ) one of the wonders of the world.

Oh man, such a tough decision. I loves 'em all, but Repeater is where it all clicked for me, so I'm going with that one. Got to see 'em twice, and both shows were utterly amazeballs.

My wife and I went to DC for her work years ago, and I saw Guy in a museum, checking out an exhibit of Gerhard Richter's work (aka the guy who did the painting of the candle that SY used for the cover of Daydream Nation). I wanted to talk to Guy so badly, but he was so clearly absorbed in the exhibit that I just left him alone. Pretty sure that I saw Ian in passing as well, though that was so brief it easily could have been me imagining things.

i've seen every member of Fugazi in passing at some events over the years. i regret that i got into them RIGHT after they stopped playing shows. I live so close!

at least i got to see Q And Not U a bunch of times.

it says something about the quality of a band when their career spans more than a decade and 7 albums (8 with Instrument), and any one of them could be your favorite.

I went with Argument but really, I love it all.

To contribute: I went with Kill Taker, which was my introduction to the band.

I stopped caring after Steady Diet as I thought Kill Taker sucked, and 13 songs doesn't really count since it is 2 eps schlepped together. So between Repeater and Steady Diet, I am choosing Repeater.

They played their first show the day after I was born. It's like they got the word and were like "oh shit pelliott's here, we better get this ball rollin' fellas"
