Never saw that happen in series, but it's somewhere in the chain you continued to use from amp to cab.

You do not want to use that cab ever again with something until it's righteously checked out.

Yeah, get a different cab and speaker cable or get this cab totally checked out and the wiring and possible damaged speakers renewed and a new speaker cable.

You haven't mixed up a speaker and an instrument cable between your head and cab? That can do bad shit to stuff as well.

Have you tried scooping your mids?
Your mids might not be scooped enough.

I know I've been using the correct cables, but I bought a new speaker cable today when I got a new head. I'll be sure to scoop the mids more.

What brand of speaker cable? I find Monster a tad too djenty for my tastes
