This is a cool idea. If it works I bet you could get some really fucked up artifacts from the compressor working against the gating effect of voltage starvation.

Are Dyna Ross style comps effected by voltage starves? I've heard some pedals don't really change with lower voltages. But I don't know anything about it. Just talk on the dwarfcraft subforum.
But that reminds me, maybe I liked the BYOC so much because of the internal trimmer. You could clean it up with whatever that trimmer did but I remember going a little bit off of that for some different sounds. How easy is it to move a trimmer to an external knob?

I'm kind of fascinated by the design of these, so I'll just leave it right hereā¦not quite what you are looking for, but who doesn't like mil-spec equipment at times?
