Pharaoh is awesome...but you truly have to be playing LOUD to get the toanz. It is capable of serious fuzz but is not a high gain monster.
I sold mine recently b/c dude was dying for one in the original color scheme (seeing a theme here anyone?) and I can replace it twice for what he paid. Even though LSTR gets top billing when I'm at home and Revelation rules my pedalboard, I fully intend to buy another Pharaoh.
The Pharaoh might be getting less attention partially because of the huge range of cool BAT pedals available now...when it was first introduced, there was no LSTR, Black Forest, Revelation or any of the others! I've found almost all the BAT I've tried stack really well, but Pharaoh is particularly good, and so that just adds to it's versatility.
It is truly capable of a TON of sounds...I might personally lean towards the standard Supercollider for bass, but mostly because I prefer a bit more compression and the gain leans more towards distortion than the Pharaoh does. Pharaoh is gloriously fuzzy and wide-open sounding.
Special low-frequency version.

When I had one, I didn't have a band and it was not that good on bedroom volumes. Not bad, just MEH :idk:

Mine is still front and center on my board and gets channel 1 on my 5 channel looper to itself so I can stack it in with any of my other dirt stacks at will. It makes anything else sound bigger and better and badder!

Ha! Truth.

Though, while I had some GAS binges recently, I've been fairly monogamous in what I've actually been using.
I think that's a sign.

I've had a couple pharoahs in the past. It's cool but I could just never jive with it and ended up selling. Then when a thread like this pops up, I watch more youtube and want another. :D
+ I dig the green and cats of the supreme. I don't super love the knobs though. It is getting my interest right now...

I've still got mine on my board.

The tone controls are really great for fine tuning the sound of humbuckers.
