Or maybe a clear one?

I put on the first layer of tung oil last night. I'm not sure you can tell that much of a difference in the pics but I will post them below just for the sake of step by step progression pics. The clear pick guard sounds like a cool idea and I looked up some and they are not that expensive. I think I am going to stick with the cream colored one for now since I like the contrast but I may pick up a clear on in the future if I want to get some variation going. I'll keep taking pictures for each of the layers but the next week or so probably won't be exciting picture wise so I may not post them. It is also probably going to be another month of so waiting for the neck, so there may be a lull in updates once I get the oil on.

I am all about excitement. Thirty pics of the same body array like the color swatches in a paint Store. Because that's what everyone wants to see right?
Nothing too exciting but here is tung oil layer 4 and this will be the final layer. It doesn't carry over well in the pictures but it has a slight glean to it, just barely shiny. I might get around to installing some of the hardware later tonight like the string ferrules and bridge. I might hold off on the bridge though since I am waiting for the neck from warmoth which may be a few more weeks.
