TC's standard pedals are pretty compact; are micro sized pedals based on the same thing worth doing? And having to download another mode via Toneprint sounds like an inconvenient pain in the arse to me.

hmm

it does sorta seem like a pain, but if its an effect you aren't doing too much knob turning for during a show, it seems fine. also toneprint gives you lots of customization power that would otherwise require a huuuuge pedal. what i imagine happening is getting a toneprint in there that i like and then there are still the standard, limited controls on the pedal.

Not a fan of mini pedals in general, but I can see why this makes sense - as some people said, if you're looking for a specific sound and you don't mind a one-purpose pedal, the toneprint is perfect for that :)

and as great as the models are, I almost immediately whipped out the editor when I got my HoF, because while the Cathedral is awesome, I wanted it to saturate less in bass frequencies and work a LIIIITTLE different :)

I wouldn't have been interested enough in either of those individually, but I have unfortunately learned that the GC Gravy (full-sized, stereo) does Toneprints from either the Shaker or the Corona. I'm sure that'll be money I spend sometime. And I really don't like giving GC any of my money.

Hard to tell from available info. There are a couple Shaker artist Toneprints that do the momentary latch trick, but there's no good indication of whether it's tied to that one pedal's hardware. If I make the plunge, I'll let you know.
