It sucks. It clips and the headroom is terrible and it's got the stupid tempo thing that always comes on and is stupid.
My entire board is based around trying to fix it. So I have a boost first in the chain so I can set the inout volume lower because it can take a loud signal better than it can just turning up the input volume for some dumb reason. Then I have an effects loop for my fuzz because the digital clip from the volume jump sounds terrible. Then I need pre loop and post loop reverb cause it comes out all clanky recorded clean and the digital out makes it sound clanky too. Then I need a post boost looper cause the looper itself is not loud enough unless I crank it then I need to crank the input volume and then it clips...
Without the jamman I'd have two pedals, a fuzz and a boost. With it I have 8...
But it's the only looper that has enough save spots, up and down footswitches a play and a stop switch that's not gigantic and doesn't have the same issues, like all boss ones are exactly the same. Every song on my band uses recorded rhythm guitar samples at one part or another. I am stuck with it, it's either that or another guitarist and that has not worked (egos of other guitarists wanting to play solos, change songs we've already written and recorded etc)
I hate this pedal, but it is my sound...
Yikes! this sounds painful.

I have been in a love/hate relationship with the moog phaser since I bought it. I have tried several phasers to replace it (because its like 1/4 my board) but nothing comes close to the syrupy sounds of extraterrestrial mating calls that it produces. It's more love than hate though.

Rocktron Hush: Great at what it's supposed to do, especially for the money. Fixed my noise issues by upgrading/fixing my power supply and cables, and now the Hush is just sitting there lonely, gathering dust. It's a tool, one that few people seem to need or want to spend their money on. Tried to sell it, but it seems like I can only give it away or use it a paper weight.
Boss OD-1. Vintage, from the heigh days of japanese Boss pedals. A subtle variation to the old tubescreamer concept. Excellent for boosting a dirty amp or stacking with fuzz or distortion. I don't use it, I have way too many other great dirt peds that I slightly prefer. I refuse to sell it for a measly 60 bucks, which is what it's currently worth apparently.
FZ-3. Civilised and somewhat classic sounding fuzz. Smooth, and just super useable. But it's neither a straight tonebender or fuzzface clone, nor a crazy brutal glitch machine. Which, I guess, makes it uncool, what with the tons of awesome alternatives out there nowadays. So it seems impossible to flip for a reasonable amount of bills.

Only reason I am stuck with certain pedals is because they do something I really enjoy and dare bet no other pedal can do it the same way. One example is I can't sell my Effector 13 Aenima because every Aenima I have ever played (about five or six) has had its own quirks and this one is noisy as fuck. There is no guarantee I will ever find a pedal this bat shit insane and terrible sounding ever again. Do I use it? Not really. But someday....

I actually miss my old FZ-3. Silicon Fuzz Face with a Big Muff tone stack and no impedence or power supply weirdness.

Oh yeah that's another two that I built out of kits, a BYOC octave fuzz and a Great Destroyer. Since I'm incompetent neither works well enough to sell ever. Plus you'd get so little money even if they worked what's the point? May as well keep them around for variety even if they rarely get used.

Yeah, I totally know where you're at with this. It kind of ties in with my other topic about not wanting to use "fancy" gear live in order to keep it looking new..
I get this attachment to my gear, which is just stupid. I cannot afford to keep gear just for playing at home and then having separate gear for live use, but somehow that is what's happening. I have these pedals and a mint Boogie Mark IV that are not the "end-all" tone for me, shit not even close, yet I can't justify trading or selling them, but I don't want to use them live and scuff them up.

I have an Electro-Harmonix Graphic Fuzz. I dropped my jag one day and it crushed a bunch of the sliders, so I superglued the guts in place and put duct tape over the remaining sliders. Now it's just a control-less fuzz that I don't have on my board but it does make some pretty cool sounds whenever I decide to pull it out. Sentimental value > resale value in this case.

Man I wish I was stuck with some pedals. I feel badly for my pedals sometimes, none of them are ever safe on my board.

We swapped and my pedalboard was forever changed. The X4 is freaking huge. Huge to the point that it isn't even on my board, proper, but after it and before my trusty TU-2. This huge blue box just sits there, the tap tempo light blinking at me. I should be content with the other delays on my board (Belle Epoch and DM-2), but there's a few things the X4 does that they can't. It has multiple reverse modes. It has a looper, which I don't use. Most importantly, it has the beautiful 2290 and 2290 w/ Modulation modes. I use those a lot. Anyways, it has sort of become this albatross. A weirdly shaped, gigantic monstrosity that sits next to my bed and blinks at me. The unending blinking.
A year ago, I won a Wren and Cuff the Caprid in a contest. It is a fantastic pedal. Pure J Mascis snarling Big Muff ferocity. It is also 4 times the size of a Boss pedal. I feel like an asshole not using it. I'd feel like an even bigger asshole selling it or trading it. So, I use it. I make myself use it. All the time.
My first pedal was a Bubble Font Russian Big Muff. It sits in my basement in its wooden box, unused. It has backwards jacks, doesn't use a power supply, and the battery leads are suspect. The Volume pot is failing. I mean, I could get it fixed, but that would take effort. I keep it because I know I could never, ever replace it.
Does anyone else end up feeling stuck with certain pedals or am I just neurotic?
Sorry, but I don't think I can have much if any sympathy for you.

LOL.
Firstly, the delay and the W & Cuff are two very nice pedals. Secondly, you got a nice deal on one, and got the other for free.
About ten years I bought ex-demo/display Danlectro Psycho Flange and Danlectro Shift Daddy (aka Shit Daddy). Both were piles of crap. Very fortunately, I was able to sell them both on - and about break even!

I' think I'm stuck with an original Boomerang looper. Fuck. How am I gonna get rid of that? And you think your TC delay is big? Why didn't you swap your Ditto looper with me for it !?
edit - oh, yeah, how did I forget, I've got this too:

All reasonable offers considered.
Fuck dude, I'd love the boomerang. The wah too. Fuck me.
I was stuck with an Idiotbox death ray. Great pedal, not much use for it tho. Got traded off to better places fortunately.

Before I discovered Dr Scientist I went through about 20 different distortions trying to find the perfect metal distortion.
One of these was the Rocktron Rampage. I bought it for the equivalent of 38 usd (which is stupidly cheap for anything here), pretty much mint. Made in USA. Price tag (over 200 USD) still on the box, all faded and yellow.
It is one of the worst pedals I've played. I'd be happy if I could get 40 bucks for it but no-one is stupid enough to buy it. It is pretty good for that mid scooped, dry as hell early Pantera sound... but that sound sucks for every guitarist who isn't Dimebag.
I've also got an Ibanez DS-7 that I mistakenly bought thinking it was a TS-7. It is such a thoroughly pathetic distortion. Unreasonably noisy for the gain level, all of the honkiness of a TS without the rad stackability. I can't stand it. But again, no-one else can stand it either. It's only saving grace is the fact that I really like the rest of the 7-series and if I ever want to be a completist and have all of the 7-series I don't have to willingly waste money on it.

You half make me want to buy both of those pedals and to record an album of awful sound.
