The Digitech EX-7 always seemed cool to me and can be had quite cheap on ebay. Especially the Space Station synth swell that's in there and the A/DA Flanger modes look cool (also has whammy, wahs and leslie). I even think the expression pedal controls the sweep of the flanger in the A/DA mode! If I get one, that would be the reason because I already have an XP-1000. Which I recommend too if you can find one or mod an XP-100/XP-200/... actually, lots and lots of cool sounds (but I do think the XP-200/modulation part of it is pretty weak. Whammy, Space Station and Reverberator are awesome)!

Legit, but far to excessive for gigging feasibility.

I like their delay alot, but I've all ready got a treadle delay from dirge. The rest are mainly wah's or trems, and I just don't get along with trems...

Interesting, I may have to do some youtube watching this weekend to see what all this can do.

I always want to give these a try and then always forget about them.
A whole board of them would be pretty sweet.

I've recently been wanting a treadle controlled vibrolux. I can do this with the GT-10 (after some serious manipulation of settings, but I'd like an independent unit. Looking ahead to a second board for a possible new project and I dont want to haul around the big board I use in flux for that.
these look cool, I'm off to look for demos's :thumb:

and I'm back..... not so impressive. really, a vibrolux that I can control the rate on is exactly what I want. this is kinda close but not on the mark I think.

.
watch the chopper demo
check out the features
it does some crazy shit
and you could get allspace with the dual rigs
my favorite effect or whatever to this day is panning
especially with different shit goin on on either amp
ive looked at a bunch of different panners and stereo vol demos
the chopper SEEMS to do what i want
ive thought about that ernie ball stereo vol/panner
but the sideways switch seems like a pain

The Danelectro Shift Daddy is a pitch shifter, supposed to simulate a whammy bar (tremolo bar). Some people hate it, especially 'regular' guitar players, but I think it rules (besides the big footprint and ugly enclosure). The key is to use the treadle erratically (irregular, spastic movements), and syncopated with your picking. Regular wah type up/down movements are pointless. Can be great for weird guitar solos.

I had the chopper and it was really cool. The simultaneous hard/soft trem :whoa:

Yes, I had an XP-1000 for about 5 years, and funny enough, I sold it this winter and replaced it with an EX-7. It was mostly a money move, as I found that I mostly was only using the Space Station modes and couldn't justify holding a 300 dollar pedal for just one effect. So I found a used EX-7 on guitar center's website for like 60 bucks, and tried it out. The Space Station mode on the EX-7 does that strings swell thing just as well as the XP-1000, so I felt OK selling it. I haven't played around with the ADA mode too much, the only other ones I've played around with is the Whammy and the Univibe. I'll give the ADA a shot this weekend and let you know what I think.

There are two EX-7's here for $80 or $90 and one has the extra foot switch. Lemme know if you want, but can't find a cheaper one. I've been back and forth with grabbing one for months now...so they might could be had for even cheaper, tbh.
