I mean, yeah, it's cool and all, but it kinda seems like a giant waste of energy and resources. We've got bigger problems on this floating globe than fictional ( or not ) deitys getting pissy with each other.

Absolutely there's better uses of time and resources, but as silly and trolling as the statue is, this is a pretty important test of freedom of religion and separation of church and state.
