How about a low-mid gain set Rat?

Never tried it, but to me Rats sound Marshally as they are, so maybe it would be like too much Marshall? Into the clean channel it could be rad - I used to use the Marshall model of a Sansamp Tri-OD with a Laney AOR (clean) and it was super good.

The other day I had my Rat Tail set to get a pretty good Marshall-esque distortion on my JCA PicoValve. But pedals are really touch with that setup if I switch between the 2w and 5w mode. I generally run it very clean. Master domed and preamp set very low. Helps keep it from breaking up. If I'd get off my ass and buy some 12au7 pre amp tubes I could probably get some more cleans out of it but I haven't fucked with it.

Seems to me like you're already set, but if you really can't resist your GAS, and you a different flavor of insane low end and fuzzy high gain stupidity: Mastotron, in case you haven't tried it already. The sub switch will rape your speakers, carefull with that.
True ankdote btw, if you don't mind:
Last rehearsel, I had my pricey and ridicilously heavey Fender ToneMaster head on top of a ridicilously heavy vintage hiwatt cab. My normal rig, never had any problems with it what so ever. The mastortron just made the amp dance around on the cab. Not even just sliding a couple inches an hour, it literally just moved quickly to the side of the amp, in an attempt to kill itsself jumping of the cab.
Which it eventually did. Face down on the floor. It survived, but my vables didn't.
So yeah, I'm not kidding when I say this: The Mastotron is a dangerous pedal.
Or as far as more mild boosting or stacking goes, a good ts alternative that's already been mensioned I think: Rat. Ruetz rat that is. If you're stacking with other peds or put it in front of a crunchy amp, you'll need the extra bass more than you need the gain. Cheap, solid and straight forward.

A vintage-style treble booster.
Fuzz wise: a 60s-style Tonebender of some kind, or a silicon Fuzz Face.

The lstr is a beast through the laney, as is the fz-2. I hardly even notice when the mxr distortion II is on though. Thinking about picking up a zakk Wylde I'd or a Jekyll & Hyde for the deftoanz

The other guitarist in my band uses a zakk wylde od into the dirty channel of a JCM800 and it's rad. The Zakk Wylde OD is pretty much a MXR GT-OD, and very similar to an SD-1 (which in turn is awfully similar to a TS). So we're back to "get a TS" haha.

It's also worth noting that the Jekyll and Hyde is one half TS-808 clone with a bass boost switch

had a V2. Pretty cool distortion, reminded me a lot of a marshall

two things I didn'T like:
a) the TS was ridiculously loud
b) it was after the Shredmaster-ish (i think that's what it's based on) circuit side
I tend to prefer my OD before distortion

especially when it's a TS. TS into a black Sovtek muff cuts the bass just enough for it to be a super-brutal hi-gain distortion

I had a TS back when I was running like boostboostboostBOOSTBOOST.
It was really good for juicing up the Rats, which are supposed to be Marshall-y, so yeah. TS is cool for teh gain boost.

I've always thought the same about the J&H; I too would prefer the TS OD first, then the distortion side.
I don't get why their H2O dual pedal is delay first then chorus, either.
Yep, the J&H distortion side is a Shredmaster variant, which is worth remembering given how much 1990s Marshall Shredmasters sell for second hand on ebay (at least in UK) - I think it's a Radiohead thing. The Shredmaster is also associated with Kevin Sheilds, but I believe that's a oft repeated error and that back in the day he actually used a Guvnor and/or Drivemaster. Anyway, I digress.

Half the goddamn pedals in the world might be associated with Shields as well though
It was a pretty cool pedal if i remember right

quite agressive sounding, too... but obviously there are downsides
