The Mr Black flanger sounds very nice indeed. Too pricey in the UK for a flanger for me though unfortunately.

I usually suggest the MXR M117 when flangers come up. I've had one for like 3 years. The power supply sucks but I modded mine with a charge thing (whatever they're called the turns 9v input into 18v). It was really simple and I don't really know anything about electronic components and stuff. Can be super subtle when you find the right settings with the regen and manual knobs. Really interactive and lots of fun. I've had two and have gotten them both sub $100 on the ebayz
