Yeah I saw Bosnian Rainbows live and they were pretty decent and have some really catchy songs, but yeah, it felt just a bit too restrained, I think they have the potential to do things much greater than they are.

But it's not bad.
I mean, Relationship of Command is 13 years old at this point.
Let it rest.

More jams.
If you didn't like the first one, you won't like the second.
If this is you, you might want to consider refraining from putting your hands on your special parts when you next listen to a multi-suite epic complete with keytar solo. So yeah, hands off right now. We're watching.

I liked this one a little more actually. It's kinda got a RX Bandits sound to it.

A buddy of mine showed me a rehearsal video of this stuff but I didn't know that Cedric was fronting it. I like this a lot better than the stuff that TMV was doing at the end there. Also, I like the second track you posted DoS a lot too.
Really does have an early ATDI/RX Bandits feel. (I'm digging that Serpico hat too.)

Meh. It didn't do anything for me. Sounds like they're trying to go back to a more ATDI sound, but Cedric's vocals aren't what they used to be. Getting old sucks.

It also reminds me of the early ATDI stuff. I don't dislike it, but I've always been a huge fan of the super-proggy Volta stuff, and this is so much simpler. Actually, what stuck out most to me was Cedric's vocals. I like that these guys have always prided themselves on not riding a certain style or sound too long. I've always respected them for that. We'll see, but I kind of get the vibe that this is another "project" and won't be a long-lasting band. It would be cool to see Cedric and Omar working together more again.

Dig.
Honestly, I feel like Omar and Cedric did what they could with TMV moniker, this feels like a natural transition. Getting inspired by playing something simpler, makes sense to me. You can only do so many 10 minute and above songs before it feels like pointless wanking.
Regardless, this is already better that Boston Rainbows or whatever the fuck their name was. Definitely Fugazi-ish sounding. Reminds me a bit of their stuff as At the Drive-In. Flea on bass too right? Cool. Like the shit hes been doing outside of RHCP.
Overall I like it. Good melody, catchy, chill, do like.
And above all else, the High School Freshman in me is stoked these guys are making music together again!

I am also digging this 'slow roll out'
Note: the chorus is a total Dead or Alive throwback.

That was alright but I much prefer early TMV or Bosnian Rainbows even. Glad to see Omar and Cedric back together again tho. Didn't Cedric have a project in the works? Juan may have been involved too, can't remember...
